At Outwoods, we value PE and sport very highly within our curriculum - and our children do too. 

We have partnered with MHR Sports Services who offer a wide and fun variety of extra-curricular activities for schools. They understand that all children are different, equipped with varying skillsets, interests and abilities -children respond best when challenged by a wide range of activities. A positive experience of physical activity at a young age can encourage a lifetime of participation. Plus, children will learn new things, build skills and boost their confidence.

MHR coaches are are all experienced with the activities provided, offering a wide variety of games and activities for your child to enjoy!

As part of our Enrichment Program we have two MHR coaches on-site every lunchtime - one in KS1 and one in KS2. They set up a variation of sports and activities with an aim to get all children involved and trying something new. From this, we have seen an increase in participation in sport over lunchtime and children are enjoying the opportunity to watch and learn from expert coaching.

Their fully qualified, flexible coaches deliver our wrap-around After School Club which is available daily from 3:00pm until 5.30pm. Plus, our children also have access to MHR Sports Services Holiday Camps.
