Welcome to Berets!                          

We are in year 5 and our teachers are Mrs Godrich (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) and Miss Patterson (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). Our teaching assistant is Mrs Bragg.

Our PE day is Friday. Please remember that our PE kit is a house colour or white t-shirt and black shorts/joggers with trainers. For the colder months, we have a bottle green hoodie with school logo or the children can wear their usual jumper. Children need to come to school in their full PE kit on our PE day. 

On Wednesdays, the children will take part in Forest Schools sessions. They need to come to school in their forest school kit and bring their school uniform to change into afterwards. For more information regarding forest schools kit please see the letter below. Please remember to bring a change of shoes. 

During this half term (Autumn 1),  we will be learning about World War II.  For English, we will be reading Letters from the Lighthouse,  to help us develop our writing and reading skills. In maths, we will be learning about place value, addition, subtraction and multiplication.
