Priorities
At Outwoods School making sure that every child is safe, happy and well educated is our priority.
To ensure that we focus on the things that matter we talk to children, staff and parents and look at assessment data.
For this school year 2023-2024 our priorities are;
Develop Handwriting, Spelling and Grammar across the school.
For this school year (2022-2023) our priorities are to;
Develop a passion for reading based on quality experience, teaching, environment and resources.

Deepen every child’s knowledge of their own positive personal behaviours and how to cooperate well with others consistently.
WHAT IS THE FLOURISH PROJECT?
The Flourish Project exists to help young people to develop healthy self-esteem, mental and emotional well-being. The Flourish Project is passionate about seeing young people realise their full potential. Our goal is to equip each young person with tools and techniques, enabling them to be everything they have been created to
be.
Lifting Limits
Lifting Limits is a non-profit organisation with a mission to deliver gender equality through education.
We have been part of this project for two years and last year achieved a 'highly acclaimed' certificate in recognition of our work to eradicate gender stereotypes. Our Gender Champions are passionate about ensuring that each and every one of us has the right to be who we are and feel proud of our chosen gender.
