Every week, I expect you to enjoy reading at home to build up your reading miles and fluency.

Each half term, we produce a spelling list, showing you the spelling patterns we will learn and test each week.

You can find a copy of the spellings under the Spelling icon.

In preparedness for the Year Four national multiplication check, it is important for you to become fluent at your times tables. At this stage, it is important for you to improve the accuracy of your recall.

To practise, play TT Rock Stars for five minutes every day, chant your tables and play games like we do at school.

This week, we are using our Times Tables books. Please look inside your book to see which pages will help you the most. Each child has a test set that matches the tables they are learning. 

Remember to play at least three Studio games on TT Rock Stars every night. Please don't let your family do it for you because that will make the computer think you are better than you are and the questions will become too difficult for you.

This week, we have been learning about main clauses, and extending them using subordinating conjunctions. The grammar activities on P13 of your English homework book will reinforce this.

Homework is due in the next Wednesday, and one house point will be awarded on completion.
