p.h.i.l - preventing homelessness improving lives
p.h.i.l is a new homelessness prevention project that aims to first identify and then offer support to households at risk of homelessness. The project works from the perspective that prevention is better than cure, offering support as early as possible before households reach crisis point. This could include households who are 1 or 2 months behind with their rent or where individuals have been asked to leave home by their parents. With the right interventions at the right time, homelessness can be avoided.
