We have been focussing on artist Ryan Alexiev and have begun to design our own mosaic, focussing on portraits.
Year 5 visited St Mary's Church and learned about the history of the church, and what it means to be a Christian in modern Britain.
We investigated how shadows are created. We found out they are created when an object blocks a light source.
In Science, we investigated light to explore how light travels in a straight line.
In History, we found out about Martin Luther King - and created and performed our own 'I have a dream speech'.
