As part of our study on Traditions and Celebrations, our children in class have been studying Diwali.  

The children enjoyed learning about The Festival of Light by watching the story of Rama and Sita. They have listened to some special Hindu music and read ‘Dupali’s Diwali’ so we can see how families join together and celebrate the special event. We even enjoyed our very own Diwali picnic, where everyone tasted Onion Bhaji’s and Vegetable Samosa’s. Some children enjoyed them more than others and some even had thirds!
