Enrichment Week
As part of the whole school Enrichment Week, we have been looking at Peru as our Spanish speaking country.
We have discussed how different countries can have differing languages, different foods and different dances. In PE we learnt a new dance, called the Marinera dance, and everyone appeared to really enjoy the movements and the very catchy music.
We looked at where Peru (and other Spanish speaking countries) can be found in an Atlas and on a globe, and looked at their flag and the colours and patterns that are on it.
Finally our favourite books have been all about Paddington, and we even managed to look how Paddington made Marmalade sandwiches.
