Wednesday 21st October 2020
This week, we have been reading the poem 'The Highwayman' by Alfred Noyes. Today, we chose a line from the poem and created illustrations to complement them.
Enjoy!!

We can't believe that it' almost the end of the half term! It's great to be back in school, to see our friends and to be learning new things again.
This half term, our topic has been Heroes and Villains. We have looked at influential people from history, such as Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Emmeline Pankhurst, Emily Davison and more recently Malala Yousafzai.
In English, we have been reading an action-packed book called 'Stormbreaker'. It's about a teenager who is trained to become a spy for MI6 - very exciting! For our Maths lessons, we have been focusing on place value, addition, subtraction, Roman Numerals and number puzzles to name just a few things.
Science has been interesting. We have been learning about how light travels, experimenting with creating rainbows and exploring how our eyes work.
It's been a very busy half term and it's great to be back in school!
We hope that you enjoy reading our webpage.
Sending happy vibes,
