Bluebells Class

We learnt all about Arctic animals and enjoyed thinking of descriptive words to use in our snowy animals poems.

We couldn’t believe it when an Elf appeared in Bluebells on the 1st December! We named him Jingle and wrote a diary of all of the mischief he got up to!  We enjoyed a yummy Christmas dinner and pulled crackers  with our friends too.

We love to bake. Look at our yummy shortbread stars we made for our Christmas party!

Bear Hunt

We loved reading the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’. We made our own stick puppets to role play the story outside. Our favourite part of the week was our Teddy Bear’s picnic where we had lots of Bear shaped food!

After going on a bear hunt, we enjoyed using bears to  count with when we were adding two  numbers  together.

Take One Picture

During ‘Take One Picture’ week we focused on birds. We enjoyed our bird hunt in the forest and collected lots of things to make a birds nest with. We used old cartons to make bird feeders and filled them with bird seed to feed the birds.   Look out for them next time you go past Bluebells!
